Cerro Negro

It took about an hour to walk to the top, and it was an easy hike (eventhough we had to carry our own boards). As on other volcanos it was windy on the top.
From the top it was possible to slide down the volcano side on wooden boards. This was not as scary as I had thought it would be.

the volcanos in León are not surrounded by clouds as they were on Ometepe, in Granada and in Managua. This is because it is warmer here in León, and because there is no rainforest here.
The way to the volcano is very bumpy, but is is possible to the crops such as cassava, peanuts and sesame.
